stress can enhance our performance and responsiveness, but it can also trigger and almost paralyze us. Recognizing where we are and where others are is the first step.
- Understand causes and recognize indicators of stress in self and others:
We all experience and express stress differently. It’s not a “one-size-fits-all” world. Empathy for self and others can only come through understanding and this course will improve understanding
- Learn and adopt strategies for self-recovery:
Challenging circumstances can be stressful for sure, but they also bring tremendous opportunity if we look for it and if we choose it.
- Learn and apply strategies to support others’ recovery:
Different people have different styles and different needs of support when it comes to stress recovery. Learn how to adapt to help others effectively.
